The Dartmoor Thunder 27.5 ALU Expert is a top-of-the-line enduro wheelset designed for demanding trail and enduro riders. It's built on the ultra-strong, welded Dartmoor Thunder rims, which for the past two years have been considered among the strongest aluminum rims on the market. The rim profile is wide and tubeless- ready, perfect for high-volume tires—up to 2.6".
The wheels are equipped with new Reel Expert hubs with a straight-through spoke system and a new rear wheel freehub with up to 108 engagement points and a reinforced structure with additional bearings, which ensures exceptional durability with 12-speed drivetrains with a wide range of cassettes.
28 triple-butted Pillar 2.2/1.7/2.0 spokes are used, providing an excellent balance of weight and durability. The rear freehub is compatible with the SRAM XD standard, and Shimano HG and Microspline versions are available separately.
