A single-rail downhill bike – that's the short description of this technological marvel. The Megatower is a bike designed for full speed on demanding terrain . It offers impressive climbing performance, thanks to its 29-inch wheels and geometry tailored to each size . While designing it, we always had one goal in mind: to be the first at the end of the course!

Glovebox

A well-thought-out bike compartment is standard, making a real difference during all-day missions. Whether you're planning a quick getaway or a full day of pounding the trails, you'll find plenty of room for all your essentials, like tools, inner tubes, CO2 cartridges, tire pegs, a wallet, and… anything else you can fit! To keep things organized, the compartment features a roll-up organizer to keep everything in place.

Full carbon C and CC versions available

Santa Cruz operates its own carbon fiber component factory to maintain the highest standards for its bikes, which are covered by a lifetime warranty. Carbon fiber offers enormous potential for creating stiff, durable, and ultra-light components. Besides price, the C and CC versions also differ in the type of material used and the manufacturing process, making the CC models lighter while maintaining high durability!

Effective seat tube angle

Everyone is different, so there's no one- size-fits-all solution for comfort. In this model, the seat tube angle varies depending on the frame size. The result? Climbing steep terrain will be equally effective for shorter and taller Santa Cruz riders.

165mm of VPP™ suspension travel

The legendary system that has taken many to the podium in this model has enough travel to absorb bigger hits, be predictable over bumps throughout the range and simply handle the bike great through the terrain !

What do a bottle cage and a shock spring have in common?

Who would have thought we'd live to see the day when we could ride with large coil-over shocks and still have room for a water bottle in the front triangle? The pros? Besides the sip at the end of a climb, this solution helps keep the bike's weight close to the ground. And all this even with the flip-chip suspension in the lowest setting!

Hungry for more jumping?

By default, the Megatower is set for 165 mm of rear suspension travel , but with a 65 mm piston shock, the frame travel will increase to 170 mm!

Attention to detail

Santa Cruz knows how to pay attention to details that make life easier. A lifetime frame warranty, simple internal cable routing, a durable rubber boot to protect the frame from chain slap, and a mini fender to keep the shock legs clean!

Effective geometry

From S to XXL, everyone can find their perfect Megatower size and feel comfortable on it. How did we achieve this? The rear triangle size varies depending on the frame size, ensuring the suspension and overall bike geometry are better suited to each rider's height!
