The synthetic upper features a classic lacing system with a lace pocket . Perforations provide airflow and breathability , while a reinforced TPU toe cap enhances protection. Additionally, the fiber-reinforced midsole and its aggressive tread pattern ensure pedaling efficiency and versatility on all terrains.

Pedaling efficiency

Achieving maximum performance on every ride relies on effectively transferring the power of our legs directly to the pedals. Thanks to the Mallet Trail Lace's rigid plastic profile , similar to that used in snowboards, energy is transferred exceptionally efficiently. Combined with the anatomical fit thanks to the 35 mm long spacer, we can perfectly adjust the parameters during bikefitting sessions.

Cycling shoes with Match technology

The Mallet Trail Lace features Match technology based on an MC1 rubber compound. This type of sole is more flexible than the harder MC2, but in return, it allows for easier entry and exit and improved pedal feel. This model also features increased space around the cleat, ensuring you'll hit the mark even in muddy conditions!

Comfortable latch system

The sole of the Crankbrothers Mallet Trail Lace cycling shoe, in addition to MC1 technology, is filled with an EVA insert that absorbs vibrations during aggressive riding. The breathable upper construction ensures maximum thermal comfort for the feet , while the flexible ankle collar prevents trail debris from entering the shoe. Combined with a padded interior and reinforced toe and heel elements, these clip-in shoes will appeal to gravity enthusiasts.
